Regular Season Round 7: Ura Basket - Norrort 55-74

Not a big story in a game when 25th ranked FinnishUra Basket (3-5) was outplayed by second ranked Swedish Norrort (7-1) 74-55 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Norrort. Ura Basket managed to win second period 18-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Ura Basket 48-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Benjamin Poehler (-2005) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Eric Fransson (-2006) helped adding 9 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side forward Topias Reinikka (195) responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Benjamin Granstrom (191-2008) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Norrort have a solid series of four victories in a row. Despite that victory Norrort went down to tenth position due to points difference, which they share with Marupes. Ura Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twenty ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with Bologna and BWC.
